Eating My Wings To Make Me Tame (When Working With Limitations Helps You Grow)
Often we are taught that when we seek progress in something in life, we need to push past our current limits. While this may be true for most cases, sometimes having certain limitations pushed upon us instead and having to work within them can help us grow differently, and even in some cases lead us towards a more meaningful destination than we originally intended to reach.
In this new series of articles entitled “Eating My Wings To Make Me Tame”, I will be writing about the different times in my life when I was put in such situations in different fields of interest, and how I made the best out of each situation to help me grow on my path.
Like a bird that respects its wingspan, choosing to navigate the winds thoughtfully rather than attempting to overpower them, I learned along the way that the limits I had to work within were not boundaries set to restrict me but instead were like accommodating teachers that invited me to create and innovate on my pursuits, finding ingenious ways to make the most of what I have.
